drivers side axle adjustment

HI Fabo members. I just put in a different carrier in my 83/4 rear end. I noticed you only have an adjuster for end play on the passenger side. My question is how do you adjust the end play on the drivers side?. I am running original style bearings not the greens. also is the end play supposed to be .008-.018 for play.

Smack the passenger side axle all the way in, it will put the pressure on the driver's side axle. Then adjust the passenger side axle to .008-.018 and you're done.

Smack it with a soft mallet, and do it a few times on both sides as you adjust. I like to keep it around .010"
