Mine is the correct one and yeas I have problems getting it into reverse and I believe that is because I havent used it alot and I rtoo need to hands to get it into reverse.

I have one too and I like it alot .Just getting used to having a reverse shift pattern.

I have Yukon axles,in a moser fab 8.3/4 with a Randy's ring and pinion setup I think the gears are from Richmond.

When I built trannies many years ago I had a clutch compessor tool,and I sokld it to a friend of mine for twenty bucks.

Just checked my application and the dreums are no longer available.I wish I had kept them.

I had got all of it my Car Quest store then I returned it as I went to the 11 drums.

I too love a manual but because of my amputation of my right leg I switched to a mv 727 to still enjoy shifting.

I need to know how much a complete 8 3/4 rearend wieghs and the best way to ship the assembley.

If you need a shield I have one that Im not going to use.It was bolted to the tranny only pm me if interested.

The cq type fa is made by warren oil. And if its 2.09 a qt by it we sell it for 4.9 qt.

It used to be valvoline but know i believe it is made a citgo brand.I can check on it later.

Im in the process of converting my 4spd over to a 727 and i need to now what size and lenth the bolts that hold the transmission to the back of the block?

So should i go down to a 4:10 or 4:30 ratio?

Ok,I also need imput on whos trany and convertor or whole kits available.I know of TCI and BM but they dont really show a 904 to handle this.

I was running 4.89 gears in the quarter with a 4spd and my best time was 11.89 at 121 mph.That was 20 years ago bewfore i put the car away.The old motor is in storage now.What are the benifits of the 904 over the 727.Mostly street but do want to race it again in the quarter.

Some of you know that I had my right leg amputted last year and my 69 Dart is a 4spd car.I need to know whaat I need to convert over to 727.I have a 416 stroker 500+ hp and torgue.The 8 3/4 rear has 4.86 gears and the tires are BFG drag radials,p325/50r15.od of 27.9" tall all help much...
