I need to know how much a complete 8 3/4 rearend wieghs and the best way to ship the assembley.

I've shipped 2 and I metal band strapped it diagonally to a standard pallet. I delivered it to my Overnight Freight company in the next city. Cost depends on a combination of distance and freight weight. The cheapest was about 700 miles and it cost almost $300 to ship it. I split the freight with the buyer. I can't remember the exact weight but it seems that with the pallet it was around 185 lbs. I could be way off though. A friend of mine disassembled one and shipped it UPS in pieces. It was a hassle but he saved a few bucks but I think he spent more in packaging. Dan
