Making your own sub frame connector?

I did mine out of 2x4 square tubing. Bought a contour gauge from Harbor Freight and transferred the contour of the floor pan to the tubing and cut the tubing to fit the floorboards. Had to add a couple small pieces on each side because the 4" wasn't deep enough to reach the floor in a couple...

As the guy's have said the V6-V8's appear to be the same. The front wheel drive use the same starter motor but the mount is different, has three bolts. I...

    Had good Mopar luck lately

It's a general show every year, lots of old car parts. One guy had a bunch of Mopar 4 speeds, clutches, flywheels etc. (no A body tho) The guy I got the Manifold from had several more, one factory # RB for $125.00 and saw another 2x4 440 with carbs for $225.00 but the carbs were junk. No Hemi...

    Oil Pan Repair Help

If the JB weld doesn't work run a hose with Argon from your tig into the oil fill tube and try tiging it up. The oil may still contaminate the weld tho. I had the same thing happen to me, ended up pulling the pan and welding it. I knew with my luck I'd be in the middle of nowhere and it would...

    Had good Mopar luck lately

I posted on the welcome forum about a month ago about my old Dart I had lost years ago. Well I still haven't found it but did find a nice '67 2dr. Ht. locally. It's an original /6 auto but someone over the years had swapped in a 273 auto. I found a '70 440 auto with B body headers that a guy had...

    Ever get tired?

It's all just part of it I guess, I've been accused of having a short attention span. Usually have two or three projects going at once. Still dragging in more junk, if I live long enough to get it all done I'd have to be over a hundred. I've met some arse holes and shysters over the past 40...

    67-69 Dart rear window glass??

Never mind.. I found 4 Darts up in an old junkyard that hasn't crushed anything in years. I had almost forgotten about it, hadn't been to it in about 10 years. He had two '67's with good rear and side glass, no windshields tho. One of my buddies gave me a lead on another place that may have some...

    67-69 Dart rear window glass??

Can you still get the rear window glass for the '67-69 Dart at a reasonable price? I found windshields on e-pay but didn't see any back windows. Anyone in the Southeast have a parts car with decent glass in it?

    Found a 440 today,and a big suprise

Yeah, I'll try to get some pics. I just met the guy's and don't want to be too forward tho. Alot of folks don't want everyone to know where they are or what they have to keep the thieves from carrying everything off. It was the nicest collection of Mopar items I'd ever seen around here. Adios...

    Found a 440 today,and a big suprise

I answered an ad about a low mileage '71 steel crank 440 today. It was in a shop that belonged to a friend of the owner of the engine. I've driven by it for years, had some old junk trucks setting around but never paid any attention to it. The guy's are some of the many transplanted Yankees we...
