Napa Gold now made in china

Chy-na also has a town (or providence or city block) called USA and America. Just so they can label stuff and make it seem local. Toolman Mike- why can’t we “go there?”

Napa Gold now made in china

Well, they are not in business to give stuff away. Sometimes they do what they have to do to keep the lights on. My local Napa owns 5 or 6 stores now. Either go big or go home. He is at the point now where he can make a call and they listen. But a single mom and pop store cannot do that.

    Shock me..

I’ve got the silver as seen “everywhere” kyb on my 66 barracuda and the ride is good. The fit works and they look factory. Trying to find any shocks that are “awesome” and not made in CHY-nA is tough. NOS shocks are sadly still 50+years old now. Let us know what you pick please.

1971 Plymouth Duster engine build date and carb questions

    1) Carter made the thermoquad. 2) some times chrysler made mistakes and installed the wrong engine in the right car. Correct sized but wrong stamped number. 3) this car is over 50 years old. Nothing is saying the engine had not been changed out at one point.

    Rear end

Sorry keyboard warriors- that looks 7-1/4” to me. Look at the tube diameter. That is one hole shot away from the Big Bang theory. Honestly we need more pictures-

Rear Drum Parking Brake Cable Attachment

    1) stop putting your finger in the way. lol! 2) using channel lock pliers and a pair of cut off pliers you need to hold the ball end with the channel locks and squeeze gently between them and the spring with the cut off pliers. Then pull the handles of the cut off pliers toward the channel...

    Dana rear, WIW?

So those drums are re drilled. (Thank you capt obvious- lol)! But that top groove is for a spring Chevrolet used for cooling - now missing. I’d measure the bolt pattern because it looks like originally it was BBP MoPar or ford.

    Spring Carlisle

I’m in SE CT so it’s a 5 hrs trip min one way regardless of the route I take. I’ve been putting off spring and fall and just hitting the Chrysler at Carlisle main event. Between fuel and PA truck squad red flagging for the silliest of things I limit my trips to PA. I’m not even taking my car...

    Help?

Exhaust pipe hanger. Sorry but your photo is horrible. Take a few more photos and put carbboard under the part. That floor does not photograph well. Too busy. Maybe a few different angles would help.

Does anyone like 4 door A body mopes?

4doors are great parts cars! They were not cool then and definitely not cool now. The only time they are better is with little ones. Car seats suck with 2 doors especially bench seats.

    Brighter Dash / Gauge lights..?

New head light switch- the terminals are clean (lol!) If you change the bulbs for 198 bulbs they are brighter than the factory bulbs. I can not for the life of me remember the factory bulb number.

    Jamie's advice

What ever inspires you to “do it,” vs “idle chatter” and adding to the car sitting longer is a net positive. The main thing is people have all the energy to tear them apart and box and maybe even catalog the pieces. Then something comes up and 3 years later the car is sitting there just hoping...

Need advise on Sub frame connectors

Back in the late 80’s there was a company that made these. Either bolt in or weld in and they were as simple a a piece of steel box tubing 1-1/2” x 2-1/2” 1/8” wall and a flat plate with 2 @ 5/8” holes (torsion bar side) and a box welded to the end to wrap around the beginning of the rear frame...
