Hi, My friend up the street is looking to replace his carb on his 67 Barracuda. He was looking at one of the Chinese ones on eBay. Any thoughts on them. He doesn't want to spend a lot of money on it and doesn't want to deal with rebuilding it. Thanks in advance.

What's wrong with the tbi? Are you looking for more performance? With a little work, those systems can run 14s all day long. My friend had one that ran in the 13's without N2O.

It might not be related, but I have a FAST EZ EFI 2 and lost the MAP sensor after driving the car for just a few months. The one FAST used must have been junk. I would check that. I replaced mine from a local auto parts store for about 30 bucks.

Thanks guys. I have to credit where credit is due. Demon408 and Abodybomber are the guys that gave me the idea for the fresh air setup. I just combined their ideas. I can really see the difference in air temp with the FAST EFI onboard computer screen. It really made a huge difference.

Here is mine. 17 X 3" cake pan around a 14" air cleaner. The seal is from corvette cowl induction seal. I had to trim it down to fit it around the cake pan. I used and old bike inner tube to reconnect the ends of the seal after I shortened it.
