    73 225 duster auto. I can only get 5 degrees initial timing before the distributor maxes out on adjustment, but have plenty of retard available. I think the distributor needs to be rotated one tooth but not sure. And if so which way should I rotate it.

    Can I leave the egr valve in the exhaust manifold and just have no vacuum hose hooked to it? Already deleted the osac valve.

    73 duster. Holley 1920. Looks like the bowl cover is bent at all 4 mounting locations and I'm not sure about the hole, is a barb busted off or what? And the metal blade at base of carb has a gouge in it? See screwdriver pointing to issues. What do I do if I need a new carb?

    what do the vacuum lines im pointing at do? I removed the hockey puck manifold and ran the distributor and egr? under the carb together and then to carb vacuum. Is this right, it sure does run better. I also unhooked the vacuum lines going to the air filter housing.

    i run 2 1/4" pipe with a 40 flowmaster and a turndown diretly behind the muffler(not a fan of tailpipes). sounds like a lopey SB at idle and smooth up top. i get zero drone. if your going to get a FM look into "jones full boar" mufflers, they are exact copies(FM's patent ran out) and cost 1/2...

    haha no. this happens after 2 days, i could pump and crank on the starter for a half a damn hour and nothing. ive owned close to 20 vehicles, 2 of em were FI. i know how to start a car. i can let my 73 dodge truck sit for months and not have this issue, its not evaporation.

    an odd thought on air scoop

    i had a very odd thought about putting a hibourn style air scoop on a /6 sticking out the hood, but of course this would be off center towards the driver side. has anybody ever seen something as a functional scoop for a /6 or would this just look retarded? pics...
