There used to be flex hoses with that spring inside the hose wall. The springs inserted into the hose usually rust away. BC

Bill, I'm not at all sure about your first sentence. I have been thinking that efficiency and effectiveness would be the same. Can you 'splain it to me? Ain't it cool that the gov't says R-12 is bad, so everyone switches to R-134 and NOW they tell us 134 is bad! Well, you know the terror...

In the year or so that I've been on the early A body boards, I think this is the third time someone has had a leaking CHROME t'stat housing. My semi-grungy ol' MOPAR housing doesn't shine, but it doesn't leak either!
