    Exactly, stainless line requires a tool made for the job ... those small hands held flare tools will not do it, I'm pretty sure they even say that in the instructions !

    Absolutely, all sound advise. Once I get back in town I'll play around with it. I've matched everything except the Jets to the 770 that I took off the car, they were 72 on primary. I'll go up in primary jet and see what happens. All I gotta say is thank God for reusable gaskets !!

    No off idle stumble or surging whatsoever.... I'd say 40% throttle no matter what gear or speed. Same vacuum reading each time it stumbles. I'll go up to 68's and see what happens....

    Why do you think they are not opening? As stated before, the secondaries will open under load, ie. driving, not revving in your driveway!

    Not to big at all, i ran a 1000cfm modified TQ on my 440 coronet on the street with zero issues and perfect throttle response !! Put it on and have fun !

    Thermoquad race tune

    You will love that thermoquad. Pulled off my Holley DP and replaced with a modified 900+ cfm tq and it ran awesome ! Was on my 440, much better during light throttle operation on the streets and performed very well at the track. My buddy ran consistent 10.0's with same carb on his demon.
