Absolutely, all sound advise. Once I get back in town I'll play around with it. I've matched everything except the Jets to the 770 that I took off the car, they were 72 on primary. I'll go up in primary jet and see what happens. All I gotta say is thank God for reusable gaskets !!

According to spec sheet, it should have 70's primary ....

No off idle stumble or surging whatsoever.... I'd say 40% throttle no matter what gear or speed. Same vacuum reading each time it stumbles. I'll go up to 68's and see what happens....

Just spoke to the local Mopar engine guru, said to leave the PV I got and go up 3 jet sizes in the primary. Said the 65's I have now are way too small

There should be a check valve/ diaphragm in the mechanical fuel pump. Fuel should not drain back into the tank, of your clear filter is dry after sitting a while You might wanna replace the pump. I just replace the pump on my 68 Coronet for the same problem. Now the car can sit for weeks and...

Not to big at all, i ran a 1000cfm modified TQ on my 440 coronet on the street with zero issues and perfect throttle response !! Put it on and have fun !

You will love that thermoquad. Pulled off my Holley DP and replaced with a modified 900+ cfm tq and it ran awesome ! Was on my 440, much better during light throttle operation on the streets and performed very well at the track. My buddy ran consistent 10.0's with same carb on his demon.
