    Moser a body axles

Dragging up an old post. I finally got around to ordering the axles. Moser was able to drill both bolt patterns so when I upgrade my wheels, I can use the larger bolt pattern.

    Moser a body axles

That’s exactly what I was thinking of doing. Can’t tell from the pic, are those 7/16 or 1/2 inch studs?

    Moser a body axles

Has anyone used the Moser a body axles for an 8 3/4? The part number is A30-CST-A4. Moser rep says the break drum register is 2.3”. Will these work with stock 10” drum breaks? Haven’t gotten a chance to pull a wheel/drum to get an exact measurement.

    727 fill tube/dip stick

I put a Hughes loking tube & dipstick in mine. Fit great, stopped a leak. The bend looks a lot different than stock, but it fit perfect. 440/727 in a 74 Dart mounted with elephant ears and fenderwell headers.

    727 year?

Thanks, I didn't realize I needed to drop the H to get the part number. It already has a 10 inch convertor I'll check what input shaft it has. I'm thinking someone's been into this thing at least once.

    No Stall?

Yes, I checked checked for vacum leaks, fuel starvation, timing, float level, etc. My tranny guy said they recommend a higher stall converter for any cam over .270 duration.

    No Stall?

Well, we put a B&M 2000 stall converter in the Dart and it now has the front pump bushing welded to the converter hub. I'm sending it back to them hopefully for a refund. What brands of converter is everyone using out there? Thanks for any replies.

    No Stall?

The motor was basiclly overhauled. The only parts changes were a Mopar cam, .450/.455 lift 268/272 duration. The LD 340 intake was swapped for a edelbrock performer, and the stock electronic dist. was replaced with an FBO stage 2 electronic package. When we first got the new motor running I...

    No Stall?

My son's Dart has a rebuilt stock 727. It was rebuilt about a year and a half ago. The motor was rebuilt last fall. With the new motor we noticed the stall rpm was much lower. Now the car will not idle in gear at all. When the car is ice cold it will idle in gear for a few seconds. When it...
