    70-76 Dart Dash Mods

The tach and speedo are 3 3/8 and the water temp, voltmeter, and oil pressure are 2 1/16. I'm still working on relocating the light and wiper switches since they won't really fit on the flat panel. It's a really easy project and well worth the time and money spent. The hardest part is doing...

    70-76 Dart Dash Mods

Here is mine. I bought the Redline gauge bezel and cut my own holes for Autometer Phantom gauges. I bought 3 lights from summit racing along with the gauges and the green ones are for the turn signals and the red one is high beam indicator. I spliced them in from the factory wiring.

Why do the steering wheels seem so big on these A-bodies?

I have a Grant wheel in my Duster. It's smaller diameter than the stock wheel and at low speeds it's harder to turn, but in normal driving it works fine. The stock one does feel big in comparison.

    66/67 Barracuda bucket seats??

I'm looking for a set of bucket seats for my 67 Barracuda, converting from a bench seat. I found a set of bucket seats from a 66 Barracuda. I know the body styles are different and the tracks aren't the same for the two years. But are the seats and seat frames the same? They'd have to be redone...

    67 Barracuda bucket seats??

I want to replace the front bench seat in my B'Cuda with some bucket seats, but I want to use the correct 67 seat foam and covers. What cars and years can I get seats from that are able to interchange the foam and covers with the Barracuda stuff? Looking at the Legendary Auto catalog, it looks...

    Durability of Redline Dash Panel

I have a redline gauge panel, and I'm not concerned about the thickness/ quality of it. I don't see how using it on a car that goes to the drag strip will have any impact on it.

    Modified Gauge Cluster

Heres how I layed mine out. I had to switch the tach and speedo around to get the speedometer cable to easily attach.

    Modified Gauge Cluster

On my redline panel I have the same basic setup, except I moved the speedo over and put the small gauge on the upper right corner. It makes it easier to see the two big gauges.

    New Cherry Wood Dash

I'm not a fan of woodgrain on cars, especially the cheesy factory stuff, but that actually looks good. Nice work.

    stupid dash ?..

I know on my light switch, there is a small button on the rear of the switch by where the wiring plugs in. You have to push in the button, then you'll be able to pull out the knob.

    Aftermarket Dashes?

Looks good with them lined up straight. I wanted to do that with my Redline gauge panel, but they wouldn't fit lined up like that.

    My Redline Gauge Panel

I've driven my car, and the turn signals work the same as before. I think the lights I have aren't LEDs though. I tapped into the factory dash wiring for the turn signals.

    My Redline Gauge Panel

Well I got all the wiring finished and attached the new speedometer cable. All the gauges and turn signals work (still have to lube the bouncing speedo cable) and I didn't start my car on fire. It looks a lot better than stock and is well worth the effort and the $550 for all the parts.

    Glove box parts

You'll probably have to find a used one or a whole glovebox lid.

    RedLine Dash Insert

The redline one does have a taper in it. I thought mine was messed up when I was doing some measuring on it. I didn't know the factory one had that 1/4" or so difference between the sides until after I saw it on the Redline one.

    My Redline Gauge Panel

Got it mostly finished today. Just have to get a few wire terminals to finish it up. I also had to get a new speedometer cable since the Autometer has a screw in fitting on the gauge. O'Riellys actually had one in stock and it was only $13. Hopefully the gauges all work, because the wiring...

    My Redline Gauge Panel

That would be great if you could attach a schematic for the toggle switches. I don't know what I'm going to do for the lights and wipers yet.

    My Redline Gauge Panel

I cut the holes using an adjustable hole saw. I tried to find the two sizes I needed, but none of the stores around me had them, so I bought the adjustable one. I'm sure a regular hole saw would work a lot better, but this one got the job done without tearing up the gauge panel. I made...

Looks good. Do you have any pictures of the wiring? What kind of connector is did you use to hold all the wires?

    My Redline Gauge Panel

I got the Phantoms from Summit Racing. With the 3 lights I haven't put in yet and blue light covers for the gauges the total cost was $390 shipped. All the gauges are electric except for the speedo. The speedo and tach are 3 3/8 since 5" are too big for the panel. The rest are 2 1/16. The...
