i used the R154 behind the 340 and yes i had to hammer the cheap headers a lot. Now i still have the same tranny behind a 6.1 Hemi. no modifications on the tranny. it gives some good quartermile times and is also great on the Autobahn. Since approx 7 years now. :)

they way I did several times. This is on a Hemi crankshaft. Writings are pointing to you ( outwards ).... running happy since 4 years and before in a 340 6 years. Cant be wrong... :)

but why that high since there is already a hole below where originally the z-bar is going thru. ou only need an angled adapter. I used one from a Dakota...just mount the reservois that high... At least I did it that way. Btw no drilling. Holes and threaded holes are already there....

really??? But a different clutch which can be my next problem. There is only a cheap conversion plate available.... no performance plate....

Why did I want this hear? LOL Yeah, I know the page. I'm not really sure what it means at all but I think I will 1 or 2 spare Trannies for testing (replacing if explodes LOL ) They are not that expensive hear. I just have to make a decision between the Supra 5speed and the original...

Hi, my next step will be the 6.1 HEMI. Do you think the Supra Tranny can stand it? It's some more HP & Torque than the 340 has...

this is the stock Dakota Hydraulic. Here I serviced the non-serviceable Assy. (cleaned, new fluid). Advanced Adapters is a company who sells Conversion clutch plates. Mine is for a Toyota Truck 1 1/8-21spline. P/N 716105

I'm swapping a Toyota Supra Tranny into my Dart and I'm right in the middle of the process. Tunnel, propshaft and X-Member has to be modified. Don't know the ratios from the Dakota tranny but I assume the are good for trucks. Supra and Dakota tranny share the tranny case (R154, AX15). But...
