    what was your ring gap for the top ring? KB's are real specific in regards to that and will lead to the problem you had if not properly followed.

    even if it pulls at idle - any backpressure will add up and kill things at the top end. when I dyno'd my 430 I ran them with 6" exhaust pipes into dual 55 gallon drum mufflers.     they have a viton seal, so pitting would be from the leaks you were dealing with not defending cause i really dont care, but most manufacturers utilize the MLS design anymore. It just seems that you missed it in your mock up stage and it cost you.

    i tested a stock setup vs a mezerie pump the electric setup was worth 1.5 et and 1.5 mph on an 11 sec car.

    rod @ Bloomer Performance Engineering. he does 4" , 4.125" & 4.250 I am building a 4.125 " now and the price for his crank, his pistons, ( with pins and rings) with callies compstar rods was cheaper then some 4" kits.

    I dont know what you have done to that 727 but you better check the sprag and if you have a stock drum you really need to check it - if your broke it ( driveline shock will do it ) they become a grenade!

    you can use the c body sized ones - any suspension supplier is well aware of the swap and has them in stock. I did them on my 66 cuda here... ( the 3rd page has a pic side by side )...

    bring the timing light - you;d be surprised, but timing has alot to do with how your car leaves the line with a stick! we had to take some out of the challenger to get rid of a hesitation

    do you have any type of torque strap? we had the motor mounts moving a little more with a sticky tire and it would hit the Z bar and release the clutch when it was at WOT - not good!

    that 3/8 line is your bottle neck - I have seen a stroker a body pick up .6 with a 1/2 inch fule line and a holley fuel pump. also the stroker will take as much plenum and carb you can throw at it. with that 3800 dynamic it will handle a bigger carb and you should not see any loss off the...
