    Inline Tube

73 Duster. Brake lines and fuel lines fit great. Would use them again without hesitation.

    Brake line clip

Those clips get shoved up into the crease where the floor pan meets the rocker. The clip is dead center in the picture. This picture shows fuel lines, but it's the same on both sides.

Threads on hoses? - Cant figure this out

Have you got the hard line that the hose was connected to? Measure the threads on the fitting at the end of the hard brake line.

Question about what brake lines to order

I bought my lines from Right Stuff and the front to back lines were 1 piece, with a large sweeping 180 bend in the middle that was no problem straightening out. (73 Duster)

    brake line kits?

Yeah, words to live by. Not sure why you "disagreed" with my statement of fact in post #3, but I thought I'd return the favour. My brake lines and 2 Fuel lines fit like a glove. I know that every instance is different, and I wasn't there but neither were you here. No hard feelings, just...

    Proportioning valve?

I also did a disc brake up grade on my 73 Duster. I installed a pv, but it's set at wide open as my 295 / 50- 15's never lock up either.

    Prop valve question

I just put my valve in today; I put it under the drivers seat, within (extended) reach while sitting behind the wheel. A lot easier than trying to locate it in the stock position, and it was easy to tap into the rear brake line at that location. Being exposed to the elements isn't a concern...

Considering Master Power Brakes Disc conversion kit

Great; thanks for the feedback. Drove my Duster around all last summer with all new suspension and brakes out back, but the front end (still all 40 years old) is a bit sketchy. Want to do some shopping asap, so when the weather gets better I can re do the whole front end and order my Cragars...

Considering Master Power Brakes Disc conversion kit

I have a '73 Duster with manual drums and I am planning an upgrade to discs up front, keeping them manual. I am looking at a conversion kit from Master Power Brakes, #DB1303M. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this kit, or with Master Power Brakes in general. This kit seems like a...

    71 Dart 7 1/4 to 8 3/4 Questions

I'm right in the middle of the same swap; I went with 10"x2 1/2" drum brakes that came out of a 70 Challenger. The 340 Dusters originally came with 1 3/4" wide brakes, the 2 1/2" brakes from any E or B body will fit (10" / 8 3/4 rear end). Had to get new (longer - 28") axles but was switching to...
