Get the rubber one as it‘s thicker which is the style that originally came in the car. I had that decision to make about 8 years ago and am glad I went with the rubber one. It was made by REM. Those vinyl ones look ok but it’s always going to have wrinkles in it.

I believe it’s the entire dash that needs the windshield to be removed first. The dash pad shouldn’t require the windshield being removed.

Given them credit where it’s due. When I first joined this site their reputation wasn’t great. I made the trip across the border to their shop to buy parts in person several times and more recently have purchased items and had them shipped. All great experiences for me.

That’s a AM/FM radio so hopefully you can get it working. Does the car have the fender tag? If so, does it indicate R11 or R21? R11 is for an AM radio while R21 is for an AM/FM radio.

From what I’ve read around here, peeps have no complaints about Legendary quality but there have been some complaints about PUI quality. Hopefully YO didn’t charge you Legendary picking for PUI product! I’ve got Legendary seat covers in my Scamp and the quality is top notch.

Do you need to replace the foam too? Starting in’ 72 the springs were moulded into the foam and no one reproduces the ‘72+ foam yet. If you don’t need new foam and, the style and size of the front seat is the same between 72 and 73, then it should work.

It’s likely a used parts hunt for those intact large plastic pieces. While part support for the ‘73+ A bodies is better than 10 years ago, I don’t think those upper plastic pieces are reproduced.

75 and 76 bucket seats won’t work in a pre-75 car because of the track being different for the catalytic converter hump (inner drivers side) in the floor pan.

The original radio will fit even with the cutout bezel you have but it won’t look great. If your plastic surgery skills are good and you’ve got a second bezel where the wood grain is gone but doesn’t have the radio piece cut out, you can cobble the two together. Best bet will be finding a bezel...
