I even looked into the milodon dipsticks and the one for mopar is around 22-23" long

The dipstick in there says 5 quarts and is 29 inches long not including the handle. I could be way wrong here but aren't big block dipsticks like 23" long? 5 quarts and it shows full on my dipstick with the deep pan....

Should have mentioned this... The dipstick says put in 5 quarts. It is not a Milodon dipstick I'm guessing? I put 7 quarts in and I have a large oil filter on there. James

I have a 512 stroker with a Milodon 7qt pan and a Hi-volume pump. Do I put a total 7 quarts of oil in? I have heard mixed opinions. Some say the point of the pan is to get oil away from the crank but I also don't want to starve the motor if it has a hi volume pump. Thank you.

Indeed starving for fuel! Couldn't be happier. Learned a lesson to check stupid stuff first. I had the linkage set properly at first but used a new throttle return set up and I think it slipped a bit the first time I primed the motor to start the engine and I didnt think twice about it. Ill...

Today is the day I bury my head... In the end the throttle linkage was incorrectly adjusted. I dont even think the secondaries were opening. Car rips and pulls to 5,900 hard. I am pleased. Thank you all.

There are no bad roller cams out there, just mis-used ones. What valve springs are you running on the cam? Who's lifters are you using (part #?) and what do they recommend for pre-load? What pre-load are you using? What is your oil pressure at rpm? Your stock Stealth head flow will...

400 low deck block. 512 stroker kit from 440 source. 9.5:1 compression. Hydraulic Roller cam somewhere around .630 lift. Will post duration when I find the cam card. Holly 750 with edelbrock air gap intake. Heads are the stealth heads from 440 source. MSD everything. tti 2" headers...

seems to drive ok when when at half throttle but I didnt really wind it out with less throttle. I got it to 3rd and just kind of cruised. Again I only made 2 passes like this due to the fact I didnt want to damage anything.

I noticed some coolant dripping towards the rear of the engine. It was on the starter. Trying to trace it. If its a head gasket Im guessing this could very well be it. Who makes head gaskets to withstand 14:1 compression? J
