    Yes that is it. Are you putting the engine and trans in as one unit? In my opinion you need to have the front of the car as high as possible and the back just sitting down low (when putting the engine and trans in as 1 unit) . It helps cut the angle down and sliding it in the trans tunnel...

    Are you putting the trans and engine in as one unit? Because if you are it will take 2 for sure and on the lift it helps if you have an engine sling, to adjust front to back load. I would also say a job for a complete weekend.

    Motor mounts are the same for sure as I'm putting a 360 Magnum in my 65 Cuda. I beleive the flex plate is different but not sure. I can check tomorrow for you, as I have a flex plate for that motor and one off of an old style (74) 360.

    Yes I ran them in my 383 Scamp, Terry is bang on with his comments, and two others, they are easy to install and those babies can't drag on the ground!

    Robb you can go with schmacher mounts or any stock replacment mounts. I beleive I still have my stock 273 exhaust manifolds at home, so you could have them, but it would not be the best for performance on a 360. I know a couple of people have put magnum exhaust manifilds on early a bodies but...

    Cam Gear Drive

    I'm using the mopar perf gear drive, with a new bushing. When I bought mine the parts guy told me the more expensive one is a bronze gear and can't be used with all cam shafts! Any one else have info on this?

    When was the last time you saw a 4 dr with 340 decals on it! :thumblef: How ever, you could bolt in the 360, and also put the 340 decals on it! I would go 340 or 360 myself, the bigger the better. Good luck.
