Also to stop the fuel splash back you can install a fuel tank sentry in the filler tube to stop this splash back from happening. I bought mine on Amazon and works great.

My 65 Barracuda did come with the rear courtesy lights in the back and an under dash light as well. Good luck with the rest of the pending stuff.

Great job on the body work. When I did my rear quarters I painted the inside of the quarters with Eastside's rust converter just to give it a coat of protection.

Thats weird yours didn't contact the grill. I had to shave mine down a tiny bit as they made to much contact with the grill! Where did you manage to get some new ones from?

A really good tank brand to buy is Quanta. Back years ago when I ordered a new tank strap it came with the J bolt. You can also upgrade to larger fuel line size if you need a new pickup.

Nice ride, I'm glad to see you actually driving it the way it is! What did you need up using for a gas tank?

Yea I agree with Dartman. about 1/4 the way up on the passenger kick panel.

    1965 Dart GT conv.

I do use a screw driver to remove the clips from the box. The problem I usually have is getting the clips back on without wrecking the box. There is a very thin edge that holds the clips in place and putting them back on very carefully and taking your time is the key. Are you buying a rebuild...

    New project 64 dart gt

Wow nice. Looks like to be in some great condition. Just so you know there is no such thing as a V8 K frame on 64. It's just V8 motor mounts that work onto the same K frame. This an old thread resurrected Did you manage to get the car?

    Audrey's 1965 Barracuda project

I matched mine up from the front frame to the rear frame, I set mine in between your 2 pictures. You also will have to watch where the park brake cable goes out of the front frame rail. You will also have to make a notch in your frame connectors for the park brake cable as well.

    1965 Valiant 200

Great picture dump. I'm waiting to see your new dash setup, it looks really good. I'll be putting my dash in my 65 Barracuda soon so watching your progress.

    My new ride, almost

Your engine and engine bay looks awesome! When I had the problem with my high beams cutting out I found the ground pins on the old plugs were very loose, actually all the pins were flakey. I purchased new H4 plug ends and did the relays as well and has been good for 4 years now.

Thanks for the tip on the brake line. I have this same problem but put a small bend in the bracket that hold the line where it attaches to the car to gain a little extra clearance. I think I'm going to go the way you did and get the Dr diff line. Thanks.

Looking real good. I just finished my grills a few weeks ago although mine were broken and in real crappy shape your I did about the same as you for getting them back into shape. Mine before.

Project "Chihuahua" '65 Formula S Restoration "Estilo Mexicano"

Nice to see it coming together. I did use my original parking brake cables for my 65 Barracuda but was a lot of work to get it all to fit correctly. I wish I did the new A body upgrade like you did.
