    Steel Fuel line?

Likely going with one of the two Right Stuff line selections below and Edelbrock part number 8090 for the line inlet fitting on the carb. Just need to determine which of the line part numbers will be the best fit. https://m.summitracing.com/parts/rsd-rpc6806...

    Steel Fuel line?

Currently running a 600 cfm 1405 Edelbrock carb on top of a Performer intake on a 318 with no ac on a 73 Duster. I would like to at least run mostly steel fuel line from pump to carb, with the steel filter midway online as it is currently. As of now, I'm running all rubber hose but I'm tired of...

    carb spacer tricks

Well the compression sounds even better. Give it a shot and see how the seat of the pants feel is. I am guessing it wont be significant by any means, but if just experiementing, go for it. By the way, did you ever get the gearing and torque converter sorted out on that thing?

    carb spacer tricks

:angry7:Uh, hmmm, that doesnt make since? Why woudnt it be a 318? Dont count overbores, as everyone does that during a build. For christ sakes, like them or not, lets respect the motor, as many have them, some proving that they will be up to a challenge. The motors will perform, if given the...

Holley 650 DP vs Edelbrock 600

Running Hooker full length headers, Flowmaster 40 mufflers, 2.5" piping to the tail, h-pipe, Performer intake. with a 1" spacer, as I had to run that to clear the feed lines on the intake. I am right at or near sea level.

Holley 650 DP vs Edelbrock 600

Currently on my 318 with stock compression, XE268 cam, headers, relatively stock heads, stock converter and warmed up 904, I am running a Holley 650 DP vac secondary carb with electric choke. It runs well, with no stumbles or issues, but I think it is a bit lean. I currently am running #70 jets...

    Heat Soak/Vapor Lock Solution??

All very good and precise info, i thank you all. Once i get my gremlins solved, i will start answering questions instead of asking. Just have to clear the questions out of my head first. I guess i get ideas of what is wrong, but i feel like i want more ideas, so thats why i ask. My father has...

    Heat Soak/Vapor Lock Solution??

Funny you should mention...it has always had heat soak, causing hard starting when warm, but these recent problems surfaced the same day that i installed am Accel Superstock coil. I did it just for kick, not because the stocker was bad. What the hell? I had an Accel go bad on my dads Coronet. It...

    Heat Soak/Vapor Lock Solution??

I noticed the past few days that my 318 on my duster has been not acting itself. It has an Edelbrock 600, Performer intake, stock fuel pump. The problem only occurs when its warm to hot. What will happen is the idle will come way down and if you give it a hard shot of gas, it will die, cleanly...
