The motor is actually only 4 years old since I rebuilt it. Lots of highway miles, 1500 mile oil changes. Doesn't use any oil, good cylinder pressure on all cylinders, and doesn't use a drop of oil. It is pretty peppy now with the new gears.

I am currently running bottom 14s with my 318 in my Duster, using a 3.21 gear and 235/70/15 tires. The tc is a 2300-2500 stall unit. I would guess that there is a chance of a high 13 out of your setup.

If you are using the manifolds, a Comp Cams XE262 cam would be a god match, with relatively smooth idling. If you upgrade to headers, give the XE268 a try, 1500-5800 rpm range with a lopey idle, but still decent low end. It may work fairly well with the 3.55s and stock to slightly warmer...
