    Rarest A-body on Fabo?

Reading this has been great. My Swinger had a "floral top" when new, and I thought THAT was rare. Some of these other rides are really low production here.

Does you car bring out the worst in other drivers, or is it just me?

I am older (nearly 60). So I have seen a lot of this. Even as far back as high school I recall the types that suddenly have blinders on when they pull up next to you. I had a 1970 GTX 440+6 four speed with 4.10 Dana 60 back then. I could watch the camaro or stang guys pointing and talking about...

Age maybe ?? But now I want a certain C-body

I have one of the cars that I had always wanted. 440CI two door and rare. One of 57 Imperial Lebaron Crown coupe Silver Anniversary Edition (1974) in Golden Fawn. Low miles, lovely condition. Runs like a freight train. I will be selling it at some point in the future. It is the Mac Daddy.

    Road Racing Dart

Was at another road-racing event this weekend & got a chance to see this: Pilot said he drove it all the way from Detroit to Illinois, races it, then drives it back. New hero! 360 with a manual. This was just a good look. Great set up. Even Mopar centercaps. Way to represent.

    Bumper rechrome vendor

I would guess that once you process a charge-back with the credit card company that you should just find another vendor.

    Remember your first Mopar ?

For me it was 1981 and a 1968 Plymouth GTX. Had a 383 transplant that I blew up in short order. Bought a '68 440 long block out of a junk yard & put '67 closed chamber heads on it while working in shop class. Was labeled "fastest in school" shortly after that. Have had a Mopar ever since.

Need advice for all-around truck that can tow

I have a 2007 Ram 1500 with the Hemi. I call it the "Urban Cowboy Edition" with 20 inch wheels & chrome on chrome. I ordered it new to replace my then 2005 4.7 Ram 1500 that I had put cams in, changed the gear ratio, headers & exhaust etc., but it still could not tow my 9000 lbs of enclosed...

How did you become a Mopar A-body Enthusiast?

Loved Mustangs (think vintage Fastback like in the movie Bullet) but a pal of mine in high school told me that Mopar was the stuff. My Uncle had a 1968 Plymouth GTX with a 440 cubic inch plant that he would street race Chevys & Fords with while a travel-trailer was attached ~ and win...

Dude. I would drive your car in my garage anytime :) Its no big deal. My neighbors call it a "car hole" ... Now that I think of it they may be calling me the car-hole!

    Classic car inspection

My 19 year old Son is in Midland at Northwood College with a major in Aftermarket Automobile industry. He has worked side by side with me on our A-body & knows the good from the bad. He knows cars & currently holds a position at an auto repair facility. Would you like his help?

What gear is used on a chassis dyno for A/T or manual?

I ran a chassis dyno facility some time ago. We would try to put the car into a higher gear looking for 1:1 ratio, plus as a side perk allowing a nice long pull for a more readable & repeatable graph. Often times 3rd in a four speed car, or fourth in a five speed etc. You get the car rolling -...

Last owner apparently not a big fan of changing the oil

I had an old girlfriend that had a Malibu. Like 1979 or 80... Anyhow I did her family a favor once & changed the oil in the little 267 V8 that it had (2bbl). The valve cover gaskets were leaking onto the exhaust manifold so I bought some FelPro's and went to replace those too... As I removed the...

360 or 440 for my 1970 dart daily driver

I had this same question when I went to step up my game in my A-Body. I really gave the big block thoughts a truly serious amount of consideration ~ but in the end I could not get past the weight penalty. With what can be done so simply & easily these days with a small block I find the...

    $250.00 1972 Scamp pics

I would leave the color, get a nice 360 nestled in there with over 500 FtLb of torque at the crank, some Cal-Tracs, DOT cheater slicks, six point cage, maybe some Weld drag wheels, then go flat black with a lift off Hemi hood... 8)

    H-code wheels on my Duster.

Yes that is cool. Now go flat black with that hood!
