I had it hanging vertically from the garage ceiling and I guess over 18 months, gravity took over.

I ran super stock springs with Mopar SS shocks on the street with no issues. I believe I found the shocks at my local dealer.

I had the same problem with mine. I bent it back into shape only later to have issues with the ball joint installation. I ended up buying a set of QA1’s.

I just installed my Caltracs and mono leafs and they wanted 75 - 80ftlbs. I torqued them to 75 and I can feel the threads and bolts stretching. I found the factory torque spec in my manual somewhere. I think the guys above are correct with 40 - 45.

Moved the shock over an inch or so. Should be good to go now. Andrew

I am going to have to move the shock inboard 1” inch for added clearance. This puts me right at the scrub line. That will be this weekends project.

Installation

Got it sorted, one side done, one to go. Set it with 3” of chrome showing with the double adjustables. Hope someone finds this helpful in the future. Shock dimensions were based off of the super stock shock length. Andrew
