Absolutely! Want to make sure everything is sorted before I do anything else. Pistons are down the bores around 70-80 thou, flat tops and 84cc heads milled down 50 thou. So I reckon it would be roughly around that.

What an awesome time! I've got Schumachers on my 383 Duster and best investment I made. Just so easy in the engine bay. I wish mine could run those numbers.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, its got MSD Streetfire. So far its worked really well. I'm going to sort that timing out first and get it back on dyno for a good tune and check the plugs and I'll take the old girl out again and see how she goes..

Man, I'm frustrated then and something wrong with the set up in my Duster.

My Duster comes in at 3600. Damn heavy. Quickest I've run is 13.10 @ 106 but need to get more timing into it and for it to hook up properly. It's spinning the 28" ET Drag Radials.

Get the Schumacher mounts, headers and torque strap. Becomes much easier. Best thing I did with my Duster and 383 install.

I've got them on my '73 Duster with 383 and power steering and their mounts and headers were the best investment. So easy to put in and beautifully engineered. Can't praise them enough...

Carb was rebuilt long ago. It's an older style 4779. I'm running K&N open top air cleaner.

Have no idea what shitty shock absorbers I have on the car? They were what was originally on there. Just OEM Gas Shocks I think. So 90/10's on the front and just leave the back as is? Definitely have to get a wheel alignment. I got my SS springs delivered today so they should help. Hopefully...
