I use "Dad's" stripper. Good stuff.

Go to AutoZone and buy one of the $11 ignition switches. It has labeled posts on it. One for battery, ignition, starter and acc. I used one on my old farm tractor and its a breeze to hook up.

Nice score!! I have dozens of the old filmstrip, 78rpm record instruction sets. Most are in unopened boxes. The coolest one I has is how to tune a long horn ram but the filmstrip is gone.

Is there anything new on the market that actually works on exhaust manifolds? I tried different products years ago and they were all ok for a while but none really held up over time.

I have used the tractor supply paint and have good and not so good results. I would not paint a car with it. We painted an Oliver with it and it faded out in two years. I do use the black for under hood stuff but it takes forever to dry, even using the hardener.

Guys, Do any of you have a 69 340 Swinger with factory A/C? I'd like to get some under hood pics to help with putting mine back together. None of the underhood stuff is on my car. That'll be a project in itself. I guess the best thing I could do is buy a 318 Dart with A/C and pirate it.

Thanks Mitch. I would post a picture of the fender tag but its different than the BBody method so unable. Wish the body was as nice as the fender tag!

Hi Guys I've been lurking for awhile, coming from the BBody forum. I bought a 69 340 swinger and it has R4 twice on the fender tag, second row from the bottom. The car is red with a black interior. Why would R4 be on there twice? Thanks for your answers.
