Famoso Raceway in the cornfields. The oldest operating dragstrip in the country. Great shots of your Dart. I'll try to dig up some of mine. Special place that dragstrip is. Fortunate if you can race there just once in your lifetime. P.S. Can you get my car to run that fast?

    First time at track. Advice?

"I made it to the track. Got 2 runs in because evidently it was a diesel truck night. I ended with a 13.5 @ 102mph. .101 reaction and 2.0 60 foot. Now to ditch the 2.76 gears for 3.55 or 3.73. Thanks for all the comments" Uh oh....I told you the addiction would start before you left the track...

    First time at track. Advice?

With those gears and torque converter you won't need slicks. But since you will be there for a couple of hours throw your slicks and floor jack in the trunk and bring them. Remove them AND your spare tire and try to run with 1/4 tank of fuel to cut down the weight. Run a few runs with your...

    Drag Racing is Dying

If you think drag racing is a dying sport just come to California. If anything is still good in California its that we still have tracks to race on. Irwindale Ca.Track closeing??

AAA(Fontana) 1/4 mile is the only game in town. And I think its open once a month to the public. I raced my car there once. If it wasn't 65 miles from the ocean you would think it was terminal island.

    Driveshaft loop question

Will I need a driveshaft loop when I go to MATS? I expect to run mid to low 12s and have the M/T Street E/T Drag radials which I think are DOT approved. What to do?

    Allen johnson cracks 6.50 barrier

Good car. Bad driver. His reaction times are like WJs these days. Mopar should do the car justice and get 'the Kid' in that ride.

    11's on 235/60/15 drag radials

I have a set of BFGoodrich 245/60/14s on my Dart. I'll be selling these as soon as my 15 inch wheels arrive. I also have a set of brand new, never mounted, BFGoodrich 215/60/14s for sale. And yes..BFGoodrich does sell a 235/60/14. Doug
