    Newbie needs help ...

215-60 front, up to 255-60 for the rear, wheels have a 4.5" offset. BUT check your car for fit first. Each car can be different.

    Spare Tire size.

Not looking to use this as a spare, just to fill the hole and have a more solid trunk floor. So the 14" SBP will work fine.

    Spare Tire size.

Have been looking around and still is undecided as to what to use. It looks like 25" tall tires would work. Question: what size of tire fits in the trunk spare tire hole? It will never be used, just want to fill the hole, and have support for the partial board. Clean it up to fit the car.

    Wheel stud question

You are only talking .003" so they should go in the flange. If not, can clean the hole with rat tail file, it will clean the hole enough to fit the stud. Just use light passes.

    Wheel to spring clearance

With the production tolerances that had back then, plus or minus 1/4" each car is a little different.

    Wheel to spring clearance

What I have found was that 15" X 8" with a back spacing of 4.5" works. As for tires a 255/60 I had to make sure the axle was centered on the springs, so the tires would have clearance on both sides. Good Luck

Street tire pressue for MT s/s

A good reference in tire pressure. We need to try different pressures to see what will work the best.

Street tire pressue for MT s/s

There is an article in the new Mopar Muscle mag. on the Mickey Thompson 255-60/15 Street ET tires. They finally end up running 17 psi at the track. My question is what tire pressure would you use for the street? Would you bump it up to 25 to go home on. Who is running these tires on the street...

    Whos running 275/60r15. Having issues

Also what I found was the bodies are not the same, the production tolerance form the factory is sometime + or-1/4" or more.

whats the stock backspacing for 72 Duster?

My thoughts are the 4.5" bs for the rear. That way they are tucked into the wheel well and still clear the spring.

    15 inch steel wheel measurements

Going from a small pattern to a large pattern has no effect to the wheel location, I think that the axle flange where the wheel mounts it is the same diamention for both.

    15 inch steel wheel measurements

The fronts at 15 X 7 with 225/60-15 BFG's I think the offset is 4.5" It has the disc brake conversion, it is the 78 E body single piston. They do not hit anywhere.

    15 inch steel wheel measurements

I took some pictures in the garage so may not be the best, Like I said it may need some fitting to get them in some cars. Some people have not issues but other, like me, Had to play with the offset to work.

    15 inch steel wheel measurements

Very close to the lip only 1/4" clearance, stock spring location has about 1/2" clearance. Has not rubbed all of last year with Feel Firm springs and a snubber. There is not set rule, each car is a little bit different and you may need to test fit and modify.

    15 inch steel wheel measurements

    I have a back spacing of 5" on 15 X 8 with 255/60-15 tires. A tight fit but works. So I think that 4.5" will work for you with 15 X 7's
