Those are 28x9 pro bracket radials. Not tubbed, just removed the lip and proper backspacing. And to stay on topic.. same cam and engine, but now with turbski

Comp Cams 828-16 Solid Roller Lifters

I did not clearance anything. But they were also used in a 5.9 Magnum block.

Why are there so few blown small blocks?

Damn.. shouldn't have shown me that. Lol

    “106 LSA Club” Sound Clips!!

I have the 108lsa version. Not the best for boost.. but whatever it's what I have.

LA 360 drop in roller lifters

I've been using comp 8043-16 solid roller lifters for my mag block. So far so good. Lots of passes and a couple thousand street miles at the Last engine tear down they still looked new.

    Engine Shaking...

Big cams shake... if it’s not rattling your teeth out while driving it’s probably just that. Big cam idle. assuming it’s actually firing on all cylinders..

    Pushrods And Trick Flow Heads

Comp 1622-16 rockers, trickflow pushrods can't remember the length, but they're hardened one piece 5/16.. more than enough room with 640 lift solid roller.

    Camshaft for blown 360

If you watch the video, its a blower. He brings up that scenario. But the dyno doesn't reproduce the loss of power people think it will. Its fun to watch his videos as he does alot of comparisons, some things are proven some not.

    Camshaft for blown 360

in the words of Richard Holdener "All cams are turbo cams"... meaning the cam that works properly NA will work just as well boosted.. Once you start getting into absolutely crazy setups or numbers then you MIGHT see a difference, MAYBE. Holdener has some good videos and comparisons.

    Edelbrock to Trick Flow swap?

I dunno... it’s $10+ a Lb and 6+hr round trip to get nitrous where I am.

    Edelbrock to Trick Flow swap?

your combo is pretty damn close to mine.. and you run the times mine runs with trickflows.. the difference is I race at a pretty consistent 7000+ ft DA... I agree with what was stated earlier, you just might hit that 6.70-6.60... Which is what i'm hoping for when I take the car to sea level.

    Trick Flow SBM Heads

That’s awesome. I’ve never seen someone actually use them so I wasn’t sure how they did. LOL

    Trick Flow SBM Heads

People definitely expected way too much from the tf’s. But I am totally happy with how they performed they have surprised the hell out of me, I did not expect to get low 11s in our crap air. They’ll never really match up to a well done set of w series heads or maybe even victors.

    Trick Flow SBM Heads

I would gather the cnc job on the speedmasters wasn't that great. AND I lied, I had forgot that I changed from 1 5/8 headers to 1 7/8 So I guess it's not an equal comparison. I will take my flogging now.

    Trick Flow SBM Heads

I realized when I swapped mine over from the CNC speedmaster heads to the trickflows, I didn't change anything but the head gasket thickness to keep the compression the same. lumpiest cam

Wasn’t blaming the cam... I was making fun of the poor combination of large cam and stock everything else. I’m well aware of how the engine functions.

    lumpiest cam

I always get a kick out of big lumpy cammed classics that only run 14s or 15s in the 1/4... bug mutha thumper, Howard’s rattler are designed for bark no bite.

    Heads for magnum

I'm using a magnum block with trickflow heads. Comp 1622-16 rockers also allow for pushrod oiling. 843-16 solid roller lifters that allow pushrod oiling .. Works pretty well.

    408 Magnum Stroker Build...cam selection

You obviously aren't looking for performance. So stick with manifolds, stock converter and the xr274... It will probably still run better than 13's at sea level. But with the heads, cam and combo that engine is being choked to death.

Aftermarket cylinder heads?? Which is best for the money??

spun a bearing in mine... Oops.. waiting for the crank to show up. So i'm changing some things to put the compression down to 11.75 and got some 1 7/8's headers. her car is tweaked.. haven't moved it to the new house yet.. She doesn't wanna race again after wrecking it the first time. So it...

Aftermarket cylinder heads?? Which is best for the money??

there are holes in the rocker that feed through and oil the shafts. Edit - the adjusters have holes that feed another set of holes that feed the shaft.

    408 Build suggestions

considering he wants low to mid grunt for a street car. 408 even with iron heads would have gobs of low end and mid range torque. Perfect for street car and fun to boot.
