    Fuel Mileage booster’s

i figured alot of that came down to NOx regulations. If you have a hotter cylinder combustion (e.g. leaner/more complete burn) efficiency goes up.. but so does NOx. For some reason i thought most of europe had looser emissions than US and certainly CARB. Higher gas prices for sure, but looser...

I recognize a couple of those from the 2018 Nats in Ohio! I'd say Carlisle had more.

SE Missouri is nice and Cheap for sure. Brother just moved to northern Mississippi, just over the border from Memphis. Cheap taxes. vehicle plates were $14. fourteen dollars. I was a bit shocked really.

    Cuda Al’s Great Adventure

BRAVO!!! A road trip in an old car is something everyone should do. You cant/dont want to speed for hours on the freeway and it encourages you to take the more scenic paths. IMO you see more and its certainly highlights the adventure of the trip more than just the destination. No arm...

    Mega-Millions is now a Billion!

me too, well sorta. I havent ever bought any myself. I do chip in the office pool when it comes around for a couple reasons 1) those SOB's will win without me and then I'd be the last left at work cleaning up their mess 2) now its guaranteed they wont win ;-) They can fix their own mess.

Caliber SRT-4. Buy or pass on it?

id pass on the caliber srt's. They are kinda a orphan car and i would think parts are hard to get. I have a SRT4 neon for 6 years, it can be needy, and parts are generally plentiful because they used that engine in PT's through 2009... AND 25000 SRTs 2003-2005 calibers didnt sell well...

Trivial discussion: '67-'69 Barracuda: Fastback vs. Notchback- your opinion?

I like them Both! prefer the lines of the notch for some reason and on FAT tires, they just look mean.

    THIS IS so COMPLICATED!!!! LMAO

this is a really weird thread for a car enthusiast forum. IT pro 15yrs I'm fairly OS agnostic. I feel it the same as cars... run what you want. It all pays the same to me. Its not like there are not service bays fixing POS the slick sales rep just sold. that goes for IT or cars... except...

How to get rid of fleas???

besides diatomaceous earth, 20 MuleTeam Borax (sodium borate) is safe is NOT boric Acid works well. essentially dries them out. Dust the floors, under sofa whatever, leave on several hours/over night vaccum up. Dispose of vacuum bag outside immeditely. Repeat within a week. seriously, it...

    Hillbilly engineering...

when i was 15 or 16 I changed a trailer *tire* on the side of the interstate 39 with a lug wrench, a manual tire pump, and a length of rope. just south of janesville WI on a Sunday. ugh and it was HOT. took me about an 90min of being absolutely frustrated and then about 10min after i found...

    Fema sucks !!!!!!!!!!! Revised

thats just stupid. its certainly no worse than camping. The only real issue is that the sewage plant isnt working? As far as "living" in the house goes, you only absolutelyneed a bucket to flush the poop down the stool.

    Any NEON owners out there?

Ive only had hydrolic clutch neons. search/Post your question search over at neons.org because im pretty sure im thinking about this backwards... I know there is issues with age/miles and the clutch cable adjuster and that its common to shim it or use a manual adjuster to take up the slack...

    Any NEON owners out there?

2.0or 2.4? I had a balljoint go bad at 190k ish and tierod ends around that same time... Again IMO all nomal maintenance for such mileage. Much more comfortable highway cruiser but weighs 400lbs more than a neon

    Any NEON owners out there?

You can have the trans out and on the ground in 2hrs if you are going slow. Its really not that big of a deal. I would recommend a quality stock replacement modular clutch and put your saved money in other maintenance parts. Modular clutches bolt onto a flexplate and include the flywheel in...

    Any NEON owners out there?

Like anything else "quality" is subjective. I like cars that i can commute 33k miles a year on (68miles one way) that never let me down other than regular maintenance. Get 35MPG+ have a an availability of parts. Other people think quality is a fancy interior but then pay for expensive dumb...

    Toyota (again).

IMO foreign makes reputation as "better" is irrational. it not like the honda/toyota/kia what ever dealer doesn't have service bays. When the narrative in the magazines say that everything foreign is of better quality because they like the way it "drives" or handles or style of driving, is...
