Need a cordless impact wrench... Suggestions, please

I feel the same they are light weight and no hoses or cords to drag around. I think most now days are good products as battery technology has come a long ways. The 20 volt Craftsman are even brushless now.

Need a cordless impact wrench... Suggestions, please

I bought a Craftsman 1 1/2 years ago and am very happy with it. I have no battery troubles but mine might have more AH than yours. It will run tires off 6 cars and still not be dead. I also bought the sawzall to use in junkyards to cut bumpers off. Same battery and I hve cut as many as 8 bumpers...

Old Stewart Warner Shop Mechanical Tach ?

That is what I use mine for and dad taught me using his. The machinery has a speed setting in the book for shaft speeds and this is what is used on the old stuff. The newer stuff went with a separate tach in the cab and now is full digital from the drivers seat.

    Tig welder for a beginner

Just like others have said I think you would be better with a spool. You need to weld steel pretty good before trying aluminum. Also like others have said it must be clean and free of dirt. I used green tungsten on aluminum and red on steel with good results. One thing about aluminum is it is...

    Two post lift maintenance

Personally being raised on a farm I would spray them with a chain/cable grease just to prevent corrosion and then just keep an eye on them to see if they need a re-coat later.

    Sun MDT distributor tester

@halifaxhops I picked up the manual he found. It is from 1948 and from that I learned there are 2 D cell batteries in the machine. When I took the caps off the bottom was ok but the top battery was all rust. I was able to pull it out but the holder is rusted away. Is there a fix for this?
