    If you do this be sure to put ported vacuum to ported and direct to direct or you will create a vacuum leak at idle. The answer is find old caps from a shop nearby pr Ebay and then they will last.

    Yup too big for the 273. Get a 500 and you should be fine.

    I run the lead additive in anything older than 1973 including my farm tractor. I would not run anything that old without it unless I know it has hardened seats.

    Anybody using fuel stabilizer?

    I only use it when something is going to sit for more than a year. I am with dusterdon I live in Michigan and have never had trouble. I will admidt though I do start the sitting ones up at least once a month and run them about a 1/2 hour.
