But that is one of the Good things going to LED's... They use a fraction of the current/ wattage !!! Wires that once heated up running the old sealed beam head lamps, now run cold with the LED's... You could even run smaller gauge wire... Your alternator works less as LED's use 90% Less power...

The ones in my install are DOT and SAE approved!!! The early LED headlights of about three years ago were junk and did Not have the performance of the new LED's I'm using... They have come a Long Way in the last two years... I can see driving in my 65 Cuda as well as in my 2009 SRT Challenger...

Been almost 6 months since my LED Head Light install... Every thing still working perfect with Zero Issues... No longer do I fear late Night events... Damn I love these LED Lights... Thank You Guys for all the kind comments !!!

Lined up with my cuda bucket's 3 notches perfectly... With the word "DOT" on the lense on top !!! The instructions that come with LED head lamps are screwy or confusing.... They also lined up with the Jeep notches... Same way... When lights are on... Low beam... The top 3 clusters are lit... On...

The first set I bought for the Jeep... Ended up in my 65 Cuda (see page one of this thread)... I was/am so happy with these... I ordered a second set ... And this time put them in my damn JEEP Wrangler !!!! At $92 bucks for the pair... I could not pass this up... Love my 65 Cuda @ 2016 Jeep LED...

Yes... My parking lights are "Amber LEDs".... All the Lights, interior and exterior Are LEDs ... Except, for the Radio Light... There needs to be at least ONE bulb in the circuit that has Resistance... ⚓

Last night's Test of LED Headlamps was Very Successful... No one flashed me so I assume my adjustments are good to go. Driving the 65 'cuda was like driving my 09 Challenger SRT with it's HID headlights.. I could see everything with out straining my eyes... "Done" !!!! Onto next project. Thank...

Yeah, You are correct, a little late for the 'before-and-after' pics on my 65'cuda... Though I did it, but just Failed to photo it... My Bad... But, what a difference... The old light was just a small spot on my Garage door... And the LED 4H assembly was this very Wide (horizontal) White light...

By showing you the LED H4 "High & Low Beam" photos, you can judge if it is worth the $$ & Work to install these or some other Lighting Kit... I am NO Expert on this... I am just desperately trying to find something that will let my 73 year old eyes see where the Hell I am going so I can keep...

Well, bought these LED Jeep headlights for my Jeep Wrangler... They arrived yesterday, and was about to install in my Jeep (honest) BUT, had this thought... " Let me see if they might fit the old 65 'cuda first... Removed one headlight from the headlight bucket and with new LED head light...

Do you have a picture? I run a Stock Cast iron dual point on my 65 273 Commando (but with the Mopar electronic guts) and have a single (one) wire coming out of it so it looks "Stock"... It's set up as Mechanical Advance... Or, are you talking about something else??? Clif of Az.:coffee2:

Yeah, that will work... The factory tach in my 65 cuda for instance works fine after I installed the Mopar pointless electronic distributor kit... no problems... And, negative side of the coil is correct !!!
