I had about the same rust issues as you. I bought a full panel and cut it to what I needed. Was my first time welding and doing kind of major repair so it was a bit unnerving for me to cut the panel off the car. But wasn’t too bad end the end.

My clear came out amazing. Only had to sand out a few bits of dust in it but no need to wet sand, cut and buff it. Mine was my first and only car I ever painted. Was on a tight budget so I went with the UreKem/Spi and have no complaints. Took a body shop class at the local school and went for it.

My buddy had the "clear bra" film put on his lower quarters and on the wheel well lip. Works great and you can't even tell that's its there.
