    Too much fuel?

You need the proper 4 barrel throttle bracket and kickdown linkage But places like bouchilon and lokar make kickdown cables that may be easier to find

    Too much fuel?

if it is dribbling fuel into the throat at idle something is not allowing the needles to seat this could be too much fuel pressure a poorly adjusted float a leaking float (filled with fuel, it does not, in fact, float) junk in the carb that sits where the needle should seat i just noticed the...

    Too much fuel?

that sounds right, so we can assume it is very close (allowing for a few degrees in the cam itself) verify the timing marks on the balancer and take it from there

    Too much fuel?

both marks pointing up, both down, both in or both out? and it might be helpful to verify the marks on the balancer are accurate no point in trying to get the timing set if you dont actually know how the number on the balancer relates to the piston

    Too much fuel?

have you verified timing and top dead center? (what i mean is, when the number one piston is at top dead center, of the compression stroke, is the timing mark at 0 degrees? they slip some times) you mentioned you never did this before, please tell us exactly how you lined up the timing marks...

    Curious

By the same reasoning, park a ford thunderbolt next to a hello kitty challenger and guess who gets the most looks? (But I admit...it took me a while to find an old ford that is as cool as an old mopar)

    69 Barracuda no power

What are you running in your roadrunner? I read your post several times over and found nothing that indicates the 318 is not running as it should...maybe, just maybe the rebuild wasnt for power and without knowing if they addressed the relatively low compression ratio AND found a cam that...

    Issues with tti

I betcha he means what the shop manual calls a "torque shaft" its part of the shifter linkage (at least on my 71 column shift it was) that runs horizontally from the driver side to the passenger side of the car, underneath the steering column, in the engine bay what you thinking of are engine...

    408 stroker

yup that's the one :) haven't had a chance to run her down the track yet for starters, I cant get traction for nothing...and I have a small oil leak that ive been chasing my tail on and even though it is too small to be a big deal, I'm sure its large enough for the strip techs to ground me I...

    408 stroker

I'm not sure what dyno it was, it is a service Mike offers and best I know he uses the same dyno for all his builds, but which one that is, I don't know the intake is a wieand action plus, and the carb a quickfuel 750 (I believe, one of those newer "holleys")

    408 stroker

Stock 75 heads, I think they are J castings Mike installed the larger valves in them and I'm sure he massaged them some aswell, but you would have to check with him for details on that

    408 stroker

I do run 3.23s in there, with an N-50 tire she has no problem getting off the line (as long as you kinda creep into to throttle, otherwise she'll just sit there and roast the hides) I'm not sure where my 1-2 shift point lays, but unless I'm on the highway...it is probably close to speeding...

    408 stroker

I'm running a small cam in my 408 and it is great for making power down low and it redlines at 5600 I probably put out more torque at idle then most tuners at redline

Mexican Mopar 360: i need to know how to have more horsepowers

you didn't notice the angle iron subframe welded into that engine bay? have another look at the power steering pump, you'll see it as for the HP/torque debate, I was always told that HP determines the speed with which you hit a brick wall, but torque determines how far the wall...

    5.9 magnum or 440

there is no replacement for displacement but then again, the magnum is about 3 decades more technologically advanced but then again, the 440 would need a complete rebuild so the parts can be handpicked for the exact style motor you want but then again, the magnum could be as much as 200...
