Ok I have a 73 D/S with a 360 stock heads tti step headers and a console anyone with the same combo have you modified the torque bracket on the transmission to get the exhaust to work. Per the website.

maybe we are misunderstanding which bracket you are speaking of - got any pics?

I betcha he means what the shop manual calls a "torque shaft"
its part of the shifter linkage (at least on my 71 column shift it was) that runs horizontally from the driver side to the passenger side of the car, underneath the steering column, in the engine bay

what you thinking of are engine to transmission braces, those we pitch

yea - I was thinking the engine to transmission brace - I have the console and all related parts, what modification(s) have to be made? (more curious than anything)
