a lot of work for sure , I did mine w/o removing the fenders /no rot in them... wish I had mini tubbed it back when I was doing it tho , altho I`ve been advised , for resale value not to tub them ....maybe cause 68 barracudas are a little more rare than dusters ????

just a hammer , for got 3/4'' offset spring hangars too .. the worst place is in the upper front of the drivers side ,inside inner fender panel...

hammer carefully , 8 1/2'' wheels with 295 60 d15`s , 68 fastback , stretched front/ stock shape ... springs have settled /now the tire is up in the edge of the fender , no problems... ----

on top of this^^^ , it will dump gas on a hard take off , like all the dam chevys did back when i was racing , used to piss me off when one did it in front of me ,all the dam camaros used to do it ..

they are apiece of cake to do yourself , all it takes is a kit off ebay ,and drill the pin hole out to fit the hair bigger pin size ,(small angle drill) and press / squeeze / the bigger pin in , hardest part is rehanging by yourself , I did it ...I squeezed the new pin in with a huge pair of...

it does tell you that the signal you`ve got on is working , not much effort to see it as your going around a corner , the rest of the above post is worthless...to me .

I needed one about 12ish yrs ago , found it on ebay ,needed a little massaging tho , I had to mig the back edge to get the contour right , and had an excellant body man at the time too ...

I dont think their useless , much easier to check and make sure your signals are working on a 58 yr. old car than looking down at the dash ..

I put them on my 68 fastback ,center of the fender , right in line with my hood pins , which are in factory holes in the cradle , dont remember what the holes were for , its been so long,, look factory good ...put them where you like them , its ur car ...

sandblasting most of the time will if done completly at least it has for me...

think I`d sandblast it , fill the bad spots with body putty , sand smooth and paint them body color ...

darn sure easier if he pays someone else to do it , I would at my age , for sure ...

I probly cant describe this right, but the guy that actually shot my car , could mask the cracks in between the fenders -doors on the inside , from outside the car , worked fantastic, on an assembled car , never seen anyone ese do it !

fit was/is the best of any fiberglass hood I`ve ever messed with, chevy or mopqar !

mine had car whiskers to start with , I replaced them with new ones , drivers side works ok , pass. side is very stiff and have to open the door to roll it down, which could be adjusted out, but would let the window leak more . The new ones leaked on a new 68 , 383 form s I had when I was young...
