Thats how its done.. 1 screw in the front of each molding and about 6 or 8 "clips" that are attached to the rocker panels through holes in the rocker.. the clips get inserted them the center pin gets pushed in to tighten the clip the the body.. then the molding snaps on over the clips and then...

another question would be.. Is there a stock sized clutch for a 65 barracuda that is stonger without the need to go to a bigger diameter..i.e...stonger springs and stock sized disc to apply more pressure..

I wondered....My clutch is the factory sized clutch and now that my motor is all strong and stuff, it sure does slip a lot, especially when try to do a burnout.... So in order to get a stronger clutch, do I need to change the bellhousing and what would be involved as far as z-bar and linkage...

you need to grind part of the head where the driverside exhaust manifold hits. It's where the manifold turns down towards the bottom of the car. If you don't gring the head, you will end up breaking the ear on the manifold. I did it twice. :oops: It only is a problem when using the early a...

Not much grinding is required....I broke 2 manifolds before I figured it out.. I wish I would have known there was a problem. Don't get too argessive though, I've heard there is water behind the hump you will be grinding on. Also, do it prior to installation of the motor..much easier out of...

I thought they may be the same as the 65 rocker molding clips. They aren't. The 65 rocker molding clips are the same as 67 GTX rocker molding clips. You can buy them new.

I am in need of the y-pipe for sure..the over axle pipe too...

I've used model paint before..it doesn't last long outside especially if you drive the car a lot. But you did a very nice job..it looks great.

I certainly hope not...I haven't mounted the springs yet, so don't know. I haven't seen anyone write about that in any of the threads I have read. It's not like your lifting a truck, just an inch or so over stock is what I expect to get. I would think the rubber brake line onto the rear end...

maybe the choke isn't opening all the way and it's flooding out. I had the same problem believe it or not with the same carb. I would be sitting at a stop light or in traffic and the car would just start to idle slower and slower till it would stop. I had to keep pumping the gas to keep it...

What about the idea of taking the main spring off of my old spring pack and replacing the broken main spring on the ss spring pack with that? Are the ss main springs arched different? They look the same to me.

Well my plans got screwed...The 003 spring turned out to be broken..DANGIT... My bolts will fit so no worries there, but now I either need to find another used 003 spring or get a new one. Of course I didn't see the crack until I got them home and started cleaning them..Seller basically told me...
