    Passon 5-speed

Not a stick shift guy......and I started with a 0 value /6 3 on the tree car.....so hacking out the floor for a a 4l80e did not even raise an eyebrow. At the price that is being tossed around you can get a 4l80e built to withstand a ton of power and pretty much everything else needed to get it...

Best trans for a manuel swap?

Leave the 3500 for the truck folks. The t-56 will fit after you do some surgery on the floor. There is a thread on here somewhere about a fellow offering the necessary parts to put the car back together after you cut it apart to make it fit.....at least he was talking about it. Someone on here...

    6 spd swap progress

i thought you were talking about the front end. the 4l80 with minimal upgrades can deal with 1000+ hp so i am not worried about that. my buddy has built a few of them for some off road guys, if they can survive 800 hp in a 6500 pound truck pretty sure it will survive in a street car.....

    6 spd swap progress

Looks similar to what was done to get the 4l80e into my car. Might want to triangulate from just outside the torsion bar sockets back into your subframe connectors to make things a bit more rigid....I have pictures of it somewhere....

    trans tunnel mods

My car had the tunnel cut open to put a 4l80e in it. Don't have any measurments but it was cut openwide enough to where the gas pedal needed to be bent to clear the new tunnel. The crossmember was pretty simply. A piece of 1/8" flat stock bent around the top of the new trans. Triangulate the...

Yeah, I am serious. Might have been a bit high, not much. I aint talking using a junk clutch and ratty pedals. Twin disc clutch (I am going to be running some hp), $850, pedals from brewers $300, $150 on the hump, $450 on a sfi bellhousing, $350 on a sfi bell housing, $200 or on the cltuch...
