Had to get a u-joint from Flaming River. I think it was a 5/8X36C to 1" Double-D (has to be the C to fit a MOPAR). Also had to get a 12" section of 1" Double-D shaft. The Jeep column will "almost" bolt up under the dash. Its mad to be held by larger bolts so I drilled out the blind nuts on mine...

Its aluminum, actually 2 pieces welded together. Had to cut out the right side of the dash at the edge of where the instrument panel went in since the insert is about an inch longer to accomodate all the guages.

Has a remote to open the doors but also buttons in the trunk just in case the remote batteries die....

If its a one owner bought new in Massachusetts then there isn't enough of the frame left to hold it together! Salt capital of the world and it was even worse in the 60s and 70s. A new car up here will rot away in 15 years so imagine what would happen to a 69.....
