IMO, if this is a street driven car, plug the secondary PV and run bigger jets in the rear....If solely race, then re-assess the tune. I also agree if you bump the A/F ratio up a bit, it will help. Impressive #'s though!!

CHeck voltage at the pump as well. I had a flattened postive wire that caused a higher level of resistance than normal and mad e the pump act kind of like yours. Replaced the pump with a known good one and it was good. I also am not a fan of Holley regulators.

Technically the way to measure is car on ground, put the slip yoke in the trans all the way, and measure center to center on ujoint caps and then subtract and inch. This makes sure the slip yoke has suspension travel and wont bottom out in the trans.

victor is good for your 3 choices or the weiand team g if you can get your hands on one. The height of them are a consideration if you run a stock hood.

i would definitely use a thermostat or a restrictor. none is a bad idea. a cooling system is an exchange system. the stat works as a door to let the stuff in the rad cool enough and then exchange it in the block for the hot stuff. the cycle continues. without one, the water/coolant can't...

those heads/combo are powerful. a 396 has a short stroke, so it revs up pretty high. a 396 crank is what you put in a 454 to make a 427. a bbc can produce power if done right.

they aren't really a performance item. the red carded help! items carry the straps. just ask for u joint straps for a ford 8" or 9"(might be a size difference) and see what they have.

go to the local store in the help! section and see if they have the one for ford rears. measure the center to center and see if its the same. then just drill out the existing yoke.
