    Mopar Rally Caps

The dark argent cone type centers were stock in 1971- light argent in 1970 (first year for those wheels). IMHO you picked the best looking centers when you went with dark argent cones...

    Thanks for add

Same scoops were available on some Dusters, even Twisters with 318s, so since it's the same hood, not surprised they look like they belong there!

    inherited dodge dart swinger

Consider a rebuilt 318 that is a direct replacement - less hassle and even comes with a warranty. Seems a lot easier if you're not into solving puzzles and doing fabrication. I've had a succession of 70 Darts with 318s - bulletproof and easy to maintain. My current crop:

Long Time Lurker Finally Saying Hello

Love your car, and especially how much you have done yourself. It's so great that you are driving the car - Sick66 should be a blast 1970s are the best Darts, but then I'm a little biased...

Man, I'd love to be a fly on the wall watching the expressions when somebody revs it up next to you at a stop light. You might have to find some plain Jane steel wheels that match your current rims to complete that vibe

    Newbie from Carolina

Welcome aboard!!! I stared out with this 1970 Dart Custom that my Dad bought new - it became my first car in 1975. ...and today If you need any Custom specific parts send me a PM. They have unique interior seats and door and rear panels, but I had Legendary make them for me when mine...

    New to FABO.

no this is a bearing and bracket that bolts to the K-member and holds the BOTTOM of the steering sector shaft below the pitman arm. The flex comes because the whole steering linkage pushes back and forth on the end of the steering shaft and it is like having a load on a lever. If you go to...

    A vs LA 318's

So the last time I rebuilt a poly was many years ago for my 1964 Dodge Coronet 440, but I remembered that I got stuff from a company called Egge Obsolete, so I search for them and there they were! They still have oversized pistons for a poly and offer a complete rebuild kit. Their web site...

    A vs LA 318's

Exhaust manifold s are not interchangeable. Are the valve covers held on by two bolts through the center of the top of the cover??? If so 318 poly not LA. I believe everything is available to get them rebuilt. There are several shops that can rebuild polys, I would be shocked if there wasn't...

Send a picture of how much of the rear quarter you need - I may have just what you need cut off another car. Keep your eye out for a 8 3/4 housing for an A-body because sooner or later if you drive with any spirit, you will kill the 7 1/4. I tore all the spiders out of one with a 318 2bbl when...

    New guy with questions already...

Damn, whose headers are those?!?!? Is there a big bracket behind the power brake booster? Usually A-body reservoirs are long and not very big around, and there is a bracket between the firewall and the brake booster that lifts the whole assembly up and toward the front of the car (see second...

The Dart in the middle (white with scoops) my Dad bought new and I took my license test in it in 1972, so I've been fooling with 70 Darts for a long time, which means I have a large hoard of parts, which I am now slowly reducing, in case you need anything (including sheetmetal if the rust...
