my 66 at work and a couple car shows last year

I have 235/45r17's on my 66 pretty sure I could sneak a 245 on it.

i have a 64-65 Radiator in my 66 because champion has a smaller hose connection on their 66 slant radiator for some reason. i made a filler panel on the passenger side to bolt it in. yet had no issues with the 65 v8 radiator when i had that in the car.

just took all the attaching hardware and tabs from the Barracuda. lowers bolted in after drilling the mounting holes ( if I remember correctly, its been a few years ) welded the tabs for the upper latches. I drilled out all the spot welds for the x-braces , just in case I changed my mind. I made...

I have PST 1.03's , ran them with a 318 and now the slant. I like them, my only complaint is the KYB shocks I put on. those will be getting replaced at some point with a set of Bilstiens or something similar

RRR, I will try and get a couple pictures this weekend. I cant say on the convertible but, I'm pretty sure the Barracuda seat is a little narrower than my Valiant's original ( for the buckle that held it down ? )

If I was making the swap, it would be either a HDK or RMS. both have given great support on other items and have good track records in my book. for me the old mopar stuff just works.

if they are like my 66 tail lights, there is the black rubber housing to body gasket ( not offered ), the housing assembly gasket ( 66 housings are multiple pieces )& the lens gasket

since its a 2bbl I'm guessing that divider is in the pipe to divert all the air to the correct side of that hat? I would think that should help a ton with turbulence on a 2bbl application. same hat is going on mine, distribution is a non issue for me as its a throttle body and multiport injection.

I would love to swap mine back to a manual, just cant do it right now. have a bellhousing, adapter & a t5 sitting waiting to get around to it. will have to pick up a decent clutch set up for mine. at least we can get that now.

@RustyRatRod Was glad I could help out, should be a nice addition to vixen. I have had good luck with the VHT & Eastwood's manifold paint. as long as you bake it on. either by a couple short warm ups or an actual oven ( if small enough ). cam break in is the real killer on header/manifold paint.

1966 is a 1 year only glass, used is the only option I know of. would love to find a new one for mine.

from the looks of that conversion cable kit, maybe you could fab up your own with a cable and trans bracket from an aftermarket shifter. the trans end looks like most aftermarket shifters?

im not sure if someone makes a cable to make that work.

64-65 are two cables, 66 is different if i remember correctly. 64-5 is the small console with the ball/trunnion driveshaft ( no slip yoke ). I have a complete set up out of a 65 barracuda ( minus kickdown ) if you need it.

no, the rear window on a Valiant in 66 is a one year only deal. windshield IS 63-66

I should have been more clear. the back glass gasket. windshield is the same 63-66. in 66 they ran a one year only back window.

at least you can get the gasket for the 63-65. the 66 is only available used. learned that the hard way.

I installed that seat in my Valiant. works pretty slick when I want to put my fishing poles or anything long in the car. also bailed me out when I closed the keys in the trunk the other day...… just crawled into the trunk from the back seat. I am going to build a finish panel for the rear deck.

unless its some concourse restoration I would add frame connectors. as others said its just a good idea. tightens the old cars up nicely. I have them in my 66 with a slant.

I have a 67-up radiator in my 66 valiant. I had to modify the mounting holes and mounted it almost resting on the bottom tank. to get my hood to clear.

not interested in the shorty style ( Clifford ) headers? , wait, im not sure you could snake the pipes around that z bar..... might have to consider dutra duals? or making a set of headers yourself? If my kids get their way I will be making one for my car this winter for the turbo.

I have no problems with my torsion bars, I put in 1.03 pst bars, urethane lower bushings, tubular uppers, new leafs out back and mine handles fine. I did add frame connectors and dumped the 7.25 out back for an 8.75. even my mild slant could kill the 7.25. im running 17" steelies, dumping the...

1966 is a 1 year deal, that looks like a decent more door. ( cant see floor & frame ) if it were me I would make a nice cruiser out of it. if parted out, it could help a lot of guys out with parts. in the end its only worth what you or anyone else is willing to pay.

pretty sure its a handful ( 5-6 ) screws on the floor plate, then the 4 screws under the gas cap and its out. might be forgetting something as its been more than a couple years since I pulled one out of a barracuda.
