    RMVB valve body swap, change transmission fluid?

    Well built 727,2800-3000 9.5 converter( GER higher end,tight on lack of slippage) Basically ,the story: Replicated the 5.9 Magnum mill, replaced the TF2 valve body with a Cheetah reverse manual. Was running type "F" on the TF2 v.b.. 2 questions: Does the Cheetah v.b. increase line pressure...

    Torque converters: Quality ,for the buck.....

    You ,pay more for a good product. My ride ,came with the high end G.E.R. 9.5 (Yes,I know!),converter. It was 500 bones ,in 1998. This converter,locks up at 3000-3200.Register 21 m.p.g.@2900@ 63 m.p.h. Also seen the converters 200 bones less,kill a 727 in a heavy burnout,on the street. The one...

    Best way,to seal?

    Getting rid,of all the rubber transmission line,on the cooler lines. Going to 5/16" hard line,custom bent as needed. Using off the shelf hard lines,hand problems with the inverted flare nuts,leaking at the brass inverted unions before. Was thinking,Permatex no.2. Any suggestions?
