    Modded stock oil pan...anyone done it?

    Has anyone modified a stock oil pan for windage or the track instead of buying a high end milodan or other brand? Curious as to what it took exactly. Thinking about trying it on a possible spare but would love some experienced input. Thanx.

    Intake manifold center rib notch....why?

    Ok....why is it on some dual plane intake manifolds the center rib is notched at the carb flange and on some manifolds it remains in tact to the top of the flange with squared corners. Any benefit to the notch and can porting it make any difference?
