I just thought I'd post a couple pics of my friend Greg's 74 Duster. I'm not sure what type of car to call it, it's street legal and he drives it once in awhile for some local cruising. He's also taken it to the strip but it's not what I would call a race car either. It's a full chassis 74 Duster that he made himself in his garage, Dana axle, stroked and supercharged Scott Dickenson engine making over 1100 hp when the right pulleys are on it. He made a steel hood from an old Cordoba hood to look like a 68 SS scooped hood but rarely runs it. Anyway, enjoy!

I should add that this car has dipped into the 9's. He's still dialing it in. It was built more or less to help him retain the fastest local street car among some of his other friends. They are always trying to out do each other.

You know, the engine was expensive but the rest he built himself so it really wasn't that bad. There was a lot of time on his side as well to spread out the costs.

OK, I found out a few more "correct" details on the car. It's a 383, now a 402 by SDCE. He said he thinks it would make over 1000 H.P. but hasn't done it on a Dyno. It's currently running pulleys to give it around 800 so he can manage to drive the car and it's run, according to a mutual friend, somewhere in the 9.50 range in this tune.
Yes Wendy, $$ talks. Greg said if the right number was offered, it would go bye bye! Small world... I thought it was more than a coincidence that you singed up here right after I posted that up on the other thread.

OWOW! That;s some crazy chit! Nice!!!!!!!!!
