1/4 window trim and tail light removal Q's

Two questions....

How is the chrome trim on the leading edge of the 1/4 window held on? More importantly, how do I take it off w/o wrecking the trim? I'm buying new weatherstripping for the car and want to take the old strip off before I buy the new strips.

This one is basic but I can't figure out how to remove the two tail light socket assemblies from the housing! Do they twist off? Do the silver collars stay with the housing and only the wires and bulb come out?

The quarter window weather strip should just slide up or down our of the crome. But if you want to remove the crome, I just took mine off today, and used a flat screwdriver on the bottome edge that is pulled away from the glass and pryed the crome off, it is held with a sticky black glue. If you don't need to pull it, I would seggest not to. The bulb, I think should just pop out, some do twist, I'd twist and pull lightly first, looks like it should come easy as there looks to be no rust. That year and model of car is this?
