I was searching around and saw the listing for... 20036 CHEE100 Reman Alternator | Product Details | Remy Auto Parts

A 114 amp alternator, for a decent price, and was wondering if anyone has ran these, and if they work for standard sbm alt mounts?

I am really just looking for the simplest charging upgrade, I already have bypassed, and am running large wiring. I also saw MRE6658, on mancini.

Never used either so no experience here. It is a re-man unit, may be good, maybe not. The bolt-up looks right; I just dunno if the unused mounting 'tab' on the top would hit any thing. The filed connections are differently arranged but there are 2, as there should be for your car.

I guess you get to be the guinea pig!

^Heh.........^ That dog is GIGANTIC. There are many better options guys here using modern Densos, etc.

For some reason I was unable to find a good photo to give a size comparison. That was the "large frame" heavy duty 100+ A unit used on 70s/ 80s Mopars barges with AC, Police / taxi, trucks, etc
