I am mini tubing my 71 dart and moving the springs in 3". WITHOUT narrowing the rear end will a 15x10 with 7.5" BS fit?? I am wanting to run 325/50/15 MT et's. let me know what everyone thinks
I went with 15 X 10 with 7.25 of backspace because of a 1/4 inch rotor. So 7.5 should be good with stock drum brakes. 295/50/15
debating on putting a 28 inch tall tire under there and massaging the fenders.
Cant find the picture i was thinking of when i read this thread. But it was the dart parked when all assembled at work.
you could do it like roccodart440's purple dart....them deep wheels on the back look awesome!
Move the rear back 1.5" and they will fit without modding the quarter. See my purple car.
Thanks, you need to have the rear narrowed to the max to accomplish that. You also need to use a different axle bearing like a torrino style bearing.
The problem with moving the rear back would make me have to do another drives haft and change the advantage of the S's springs

I'm running 15 x 12 with 7" back space and a 15.50 tire on my cuda which is about the same, and if I could have found them, I could of went with either a 14" wide wheel or 9" of backspace.
I'm considering go to a 29" tall tire
They look good but don't hook like the MT drag radial.
I'm not a fan of the sportsman pro's, they just look tacky. I like the ET Street Radials
