Selling my 65 Dart
California car. Original black plates. No rot/rust.
Was originally a factory 273 2bl with AC. I have the original manifold, 2b.carb, AC compressor/hoses etc (AC was not working when removed after buying it.) I have owned the car for over 10 years. Engine/trans were rebuilt when I first bought it in 2009. It was my daily driver until 2012.
(I think I have receipts from guy I bought it from. )
6 years ago I parked it after installing and breaking in a mild comp cam/lifters and new double roller timing chain.
Last Sept. 2019 I got it back to road worthy status. Transmission service, engine oil/filter, air filter, fuel filters, New gas tank, Carb tuned, Radiator recently recored, new radiator-hoses, thermostat, and coolant. x2 new mufflers. Brand new tires x4. New blinker cam/wiring. Newer battery and alternator. New v-belts Plugs and wires new blinker cam and wiring
273 LA, 65 block with 66 heads so as to avoid weird intake angle.
4 barrel Edelbrock carb
Holley street dominator single plane intake manifold
mild Comp cam
Doug ceramic coated headers
X-pipe exhaust
Sure grip rear axle 3.21 gears large bolt pattern
Front disk brake conversion 10.75 large bolt pattern with Mopar aluminum master cylinder (not power brakes)
Grant steering wheel
Autometer tachometer
Oil pressure -mechanical gauge
Centerline style wheels
Pro-car bucket seats with a-body mounts.
Edelbrock shocks x4
newer leaf spring
radio works/all gauges work
I know it needs a heater dash vacuum port replaced and a heater vent --heater core was replaced before parking it years ago but I never got around to fixing the heater, I live in SoCal, so it didn't bother me. Horn isn't working due to worn contact ring. Has a header exhaust leak. Driver's side fender ding.
Asking $7,500
