This bad little Valiant has surprised many a Corvette and Shelby Mustang owners. 340 stroked to 372 with Mopar crank. Wiseco 10:1 pistons, Eagle H Beam rods, main cap girdle, solid roller cam, ported Edelbrock heads, Harland Sharp rockers, Victor intake, reworked Holley 750, MSD. 540 hp and 500 Tq. Shifts at 7000. Runs 11:50s on pump gas and closed exhaust with Mickey Thompson drag radials, 1:55 60ft. built 904, 3000 stall, 4:30 8 3/4 with SS springs. Very docile to drive and sounds like a mildly warmed over 340 until the foot drops. Runs cool. Lots of high quality parts and good engineering. Factory Kelsey Hayes discs up front, B body drums out back, big bolt pattern aftermarket axles w/ green bearings. Cheetah shifter with reverse pattern and line lock.

For $13K I can provide the car with a new 340 .030 over solid lifter motor that will push it to low 12's. :burnout:

Had 3 of those over the years, 2 were bent sixes and 1 was 273 commando 4 speed. Man where are they now!

Nice little car!I also have a 340(372ci)in my 73 Dart Sport 4 speed, makes for a fun car.:DGood luck with the sale.

Great looking '65!
One day, when my '65 Valiant grows up I want it to be just like this one. Best of luck with the sale.

Did you have the Commando 4 speed in GA? or in another state? I also had a black 65 Signet commando 4 speed manny years ago in Texas. Oh and I built this car in the add, it was hard for me to sell it a few years ago this fine gentelman, thanks for keeping in such fine conndition.

Wow. Very nice build. Hood scoop looks great IMO. Hard to get the right look with a scoop on an early-a. I'm thinking about adding one to my 65 Cuda so thanks for posting pics. Your valiant looks awesome & good luck with sale.
