Yes it is factory all day long. 1966-1967 833 trans

just like carb tags they get tossed aside when worked on. Or torn up with repeated side cover R&R

Engine block cast 2 27 67 and the trans 3 27 67. Car SPD 4 28 67

Haven't got in to clean the "distributor" pad to see actual engine build date. Today's job..

I’d say the trans tag was stamped and put on when they were bolting on the side cover at the end of transmission assembly.

Yes, I had that tag on my 67 Formula S Notch back in the day.
